It also operates its Las Cruces mine in the Sevilla province of Spain, producing copper cathodes and its underground copper and zinc Pyhäsalmi Mine Oy mine in central Finland. In addition, mines are operated in Western Australia, Zambia, Mauritania and development projects in Zambia, Panama and Peru. ***Lundin Mining (TSX:LUN, OMX:LUMI) operates its Neves-Corvo copper and zinc mine in Portugal, its Zinkgruvan zince and copper mine in south-central Sweden, its large scale joint-ventured with Freeport cobalt chemical refinery in Kokkola, Finland and recently purchased an interest in Freeport’s stake in the Timok project in Serbia. Other gold operations are at the Costerfield in Australia and the Cerro Bayo in Chile.. ***New Boliden (NASDAQ OMX Stockholm) operates the zinc/copper/lead/gold/silver Garpenberg mine, the Aitik copper mine and the Boliden Area mines in Sweden, the Kevitsa and the Kylylahti mines in Finland and the Tara, Europe’s biggest zinc mine, in Ireland. Boliden also operates smelters in Norway, Sweden and Finland. ***Orvana Minerals (TSX:ORV) operates the El Valle gold-copper mines in northern Spain. ORV is currently evaluating a restart of mining activity at the adjacent Carlés Mine to increase production in the near-term. In addition, W Resources is advancing exploration at the former tungsten and tin mine at Tarouca and at the Sao Martinho gold deposit within the CAA/Portalegre copper-gold project, both in Portugal.

***Ariana Resources (AIM:AAU)is constructing its 20,000oz/yr Kiziltepe gold mine in western Turkey, where the Red Rabbit gold-silver project is expected to pour its first gold in H2 2016 and where the Tavsan Sector is being developed and could contribute 30,000oz/yr gold to the Red Rabbit jv from a heap-leaching operation. Ariana also has a jv with Eldorado Gold for the Salibas Project where a Scoping Study has been completed. It further has 4 exploration projects. ***Aurum Mining (AIM:AUR) is focusing on a joint-venture with Ormonde Mining for the El Facho structure in the Pino permit area in north-west Spain where the jv is looking to establish a resource of 122,000-145,000 ozs/gold.***Berkeley Energia (AIM,ASX:BKY) commenced the development of the 100%-owned Salamanca Uranium Project in central-western Spain. Following a decade of exploration and feasibility studies and more than US$80 million of investment, the company has selected some of Spain’s largest infrastructure contractors to initiate work. ***Dalradian Resources (TSX:DNA,AIM:DALR) is advancing its high-grade Curraghinalt gold deposit in Northern Ireland. The company has an exceptionally strong management and is well-funded to further expand its M&I resource and complete its in-progress feasibility study and planning application to build a mine. ***Euromax Resources (TSXV:EOX) is the first company that will start a producing gold and copper mines in the Balkan region of Europe in 30 years. The Ilovica gold-copper project in Macedonia is on its way to realize the US$474 project of which the bulk of the financing is already in place. The highly capable management is estimating to complete construction in 24 months with first production slated for Q4 2018.***Nordic Mines (OMX Nordic:NOMI)has produced gold at its Laiva Gold Mine in Finland between 2011 and 2014 when the mine was placed on care and maintenance. A new management came on Board in 2016 and a Scoping Study concluded that the mine has the potential to generate positive cash flows. The deposit is among the largest in the Nordic region and the new management is determined to put the mine back into production. ***Ormonde Mining (AIM,ESM:ORM) is proceeding to be the next near term tungsten producer with its Barruecopardo Tungsten Project near Salamanca in Spain planned to commence open pit mining in H2 2017. The mine life is estimated at 9 years with a significant potential for extension. ORM also has substantial gold exploration projects in several highly prospective areas of western Spain. ***Prairie Mining (ASX,LSE,WSE:PDZ)is located within the heartland of industrial Europe with a large scale coal resource of 728 million tonnes and with excellent access to infrastructure, Prairie’s vision is to become Europe’s lowest cost supplier of premium coal. A Pre-Feasibility Study was completed and an A$83 million financing is in place to upgrade, expand and develop the Jan Karski Mine at the Lublin Coal Project in eastern Poland. ***Talga Resources (ASX:TLG) has a strong position in the development of graphene/graphite projects in northern Sweden. It just completed its trial mining of graphite ore. Its proprietary technology to liberate graphene and nanographite from its large, high-quality ore deposits and its patent-pending mining and processing pilot plant operations in Germany give the company a unique edge. ***Wolf Minerals (ASX:WLF, AIM:WLFE) is working towards commercial tungsten and tin production at its world-class Drakelands Mine in south-west England. The mine is one of only two mines outside of China with production capacity greater than 3,000tpa tungsten concentrate.
